Damian Rae Winery Launches 2007 Syrah
September 22, 2009
ST. HELENA, CA – Damian Rae
Winery today announced the availability of its latest hand-crafted premium
wine, the Damian Rae 2007 Syrah from White Hawk vineyard (Santa Barbara County). “This
first-rate wine has its origins in one of the world’s premier Syrah vineyards,”
said John Tarabini, president. “The 2007
vintage promises to be as spectacular as last year’s highly-rated Damian Rae
Syrah.”
Inky dark, this impressively smooth Syrah offers a
tsunami of blackberry, currant, and plum flavors. The richness is balanced with fine, silky
tannins, leading to a delightful finish.
Barrel-aged for a full 18 months, this wine is now ready to drink, or it
can be cellared and enjoyed in the years ahead.
A fine culinary experience can be created by
pairing the Damian Rae 2007 Syrah with lamb chops, smoked duck breast, prime
rib, or sausages and barbequed meats.
The Damian Rae 2007 Syrah is priced at $50 and can be ordered while
supplies last at www.damianrae.com.
